Phil & Teds Double?

I didn't like them but I am getting one thats similar to it since I don't want a tandem for too long as my son will be walking soon and I wanted one that converts back into a single so I am getting the HAUCK DUETT Tandem for £199 off my local market trader hehe it is normally £260 x

Wow bargain!! Ive been looking at a P&T Sport as some1 is selling 1 in my area for £150 im also wanting to be able to make it a single after thats why I was choosing the P&T now gonna be nosey at the HAUCK DUET! Thanks 4 ur advice xxx

Oh it a 4 wheeled 1! I find 3 wheelers easier personally is that y u didnt like the P&T? xxx

Its not so much the wheels it was price for the Phil and Teds my market lady will let me pay weekly and then take pram when paid up x also i just liked the look of the duett more after seeing both in the flesh x

I have changed my mind so much about my twin pushchair if i had the cash i would get the city select twin but that's way too much with the extra seat and carrycot to buy x that's why i like the duett as the main seat converts into a carrycot x

I use a P & T 3 wheeler double at work, I hate it! It would probably be ok if you used it out in the countryside but we live in a town. It's really heavy to get up and down kerbs, impossible to get up and down steps, and too wide for a lot of the shops.

Really?? Titch85 thats shocked me as I was told it was light weight :( I need to take it upstairs on occasions!! and I also live in a town too!!! Is there any u would recommend? xxx

I think she is on about the side by side one x

My son will be 2 years old! But his still tiny lol his only 18lbs! Walks fine but his little legs tire quickly lol xxx

It's the one that's got a seat under the main seat? I'll try and get a pic when I am on the laptop later, on my phone at the min.

I find it really awkward and heavy with two children in, with one child it's not so bad.

I get wat u mean now Titch! But by the time the newborn is heavy HOPEFULLY Leighton will be anle to push the buggy for me! pmsl xxxx

The one I use is similiar to this:

The rear seat just slots on and off. I don't have any experience with other doubles so I am not sure what they are like in comparison, but I am not really a fan of 3 wheelers. I am a Nanny and this is what comes with the job!

Yeh this is the 1 I wanted to go 4! Maybe I should go try some out at a babyshow! xxx

I have a P&T Explorer and I love it - however we only have one LO and live in the middle of nowhere so our walks are along muddy lanes and footpaths!

It is heavy and cumbersome and takes up alot of space in the car.

But that's thepay of for us being able to use it where we live!!!

Google tandems and see which ones you can find i did x

Sorry to be negative! Probably the best thing to do is try a few out and see what YOU think.

phil and teds are misleading as the weight is usually stated without add ons. id have had one if I could afford new but couldn't so got obabyxi and I love it great as tandem or single regardless of bad reviews iv had no issues and been using it for 3 months. go try a phil and teds you will know for sure if your happy with it then.
