I've not even posted my birth story yet and I have questions!
The main thing is about the extreme cold and shivers. I had my LB on Tuesday, came home Thursday early evening. At about 9pm I suddenly came over really, really cold. The shivers were massively violent and my OH looked shocked. I have no fever, no sign of infection, just this cold! It's not particularly constant either, or rather I'm colder than I was when I was pregnant, generally, then there are these waves of icy intensity. I had an urgent c section, so is it c section related or something birth related or something else?
Then there's the weird tummy. I was expecting soft, flabby belly after rock hard pregnant belly, and I was expecting my scar and the area around the scar site where they yank you about with those paddle like things (I knew the word, I've forgotten the word) to be sore, but higher up, above the scar and visible bruising, but below the ribcage, inside, feels weird and a little tender-ish too... normal? I know they had some issues in theatre with endometriosis scars and adhesions, so could it be this too?
Finally (sorry for essay!)... is mine the only tummy out there competing to invent the most bizarre noises ?
Right, feeding time nearly. Hopefully the next time I'm up in the night with him I can do my birth story! Thanks for any advice/thoughts xxx
