Periods and swimming

My pill packet ended yesterday so think I'll come on before next water babies class anyone swam whilst on period? I know you can just use a tampon like normal I've just never been in this situation.

Hey, Ive been swimming whilst being on and a tampon works just fine. I'd always make sure I've put a fresh one in just before I go in the pool so defo no leeks!! Sorry tmi!!!

I use my mooncup for swimming and its fine but i used to use tampons for swimming and as above, i just changed it before i went in for added peace of mind.

I used to swim all the time with a tampon, not got that worry again yet though! I used them from my first period as a teen as I didn't want to miss out on swimming and pe!
