Maybe and hopefully I'm overdoing it. I have these bad period pains (or diarrhea pains) that creep across my belly but then go after 3 mins. Belly goes Rock hard and it hurts like a contraction. I have been to London and various shopping outings so do you think this is over doing it pain. It's relatively constant. In bath atm to settle it down and baby is moving like norm. Just a bit concerned as they do stop me in my tracks and take my breath away. Xx

Well I did wonder if it's just a case of practicing pains which I am fine with but my god they stop me in my tracks. Maybe I will ask the midwife to check my urine for infection etc as they might just be the problem. Xx

So I'm getting the BH tightenings a lot and I'm being logical thinking I'm not in labour but that each pregnancy comes with more sensitivity and discomfort. I guess it all just stretches and hurts quite a bit more if you try to Over do it without thinking. First time round I guess you tend to wrap yourself up in bubble wrap but third time round my movements are more robust and I guess it triggers of sensitivity. I have a scan next Saturday which is a 4d so that will send reassurance to me and hopefully seeing her little face will bring a lot of joy. X

I had this last week and had a very bad uti. With anti biotics the pain and bh have both stopped so maybe worth your while to get a sample checked just incase!

Really? I have been peeing alot more than normal but I've been drinking plenty. I've got a warm hot water bottle over my bottom uterous area and just trying to relax. It's so constant and hurts lots. I might drop into antenatal center and see what they think. It's very sore x

With mine I didn't really have symptoms that I'd usually have with a uti though! None of the frequent peeing or burning which was odd but no harm in getting checked x

I've had some period like pains and the midwife has put it down to the baby being low down and pressing her head on my bladder!

I'm actually starting to think that it's got everything to do with where baby is pressing head. Realistically when the pain happens I can feel her kicking so low by my cervix and so perhaps the theory of location of baby is why the pain is so intense. I have had no scoring of engagement yet which is obvious as she's so small and can get around easily but it's good to know she's locating the exit this early on in hope that she's ready to come in all good time (ie not late) xx
