Period feeling???

Hi all

Just wanted to know if anyone else feels like me, iv had this on and off during the last 4 weeks, feeling like my period is due. It eases off somethimes but last night and today its back again. Not sure if its normal or not? xx

Hi hun, I had that too but it's calmed a bit over the last couple of weeks don't worry, it's very normal to get cramping and pains, its just your uterus growing and baby growing xxx

I was worried about this too! dreading going to the loo incase i came on my period!
Cant wait to see baby on screen to be reassured!

Well since i have just sat down, i have had some cramping, which i know is all ok, i can feel things pulling & streaching. It was quite painfull but only lasted a minute. xx
kayelle, i have had this since i found out and i am always dreading going to the toilet, roll on 12 weeks. xx

Hey hun,

Yeah this is very normal apparently (I asked my midwife about it last week), it's all the growing, moving and stretching going on. I have noticed that when I have a bout of cramping, my wee bump seems to get a little bigger the following day

Hi hun, that's how I realised I was pregnant as when I normally get period pains my periods started there and then after couple weeks I did a test and a BFP! I'm 11 weeks +3 now and dont get them! Just everything expanding inside! x

hi hun you know the trouble I've had. When I spoke to the midwife she said its very normal. Theres a couple of reasons - because we are earlyish then our body still feels like it should have a little period till it realises what it is doing and you may have a little bleed at the same time cos now the baby is in his sack the lining that he used to implant into may need to go eventually, it also feels like period pains when the muscles low down are stretching and your cervix is swollen.

i have had some mild cramping even today......but apparently its all just the growing pains....apparently its a good sign cos if you get mild cramping and twinging then it means things are going on in there x
