Period cramps at 18 weeks?? Help!!!

I have woke up today with what feels like period cramps right in my lady bits but all on the left side it's had me running to loo checking for blood but there's none... I'm 18 weeks pregnant tomorrow is this normal? Totally freaking out now xxx

Could it be round ligament pain? We get all sorts of annoying aches and pains the whole way through just to worry us, but sounds standard to me. Have a paracetamol and a warm bath and see if it goes but of course call your MW if worried xx

I hope it's that I've been googling like a mad one (I know I shouldn't) but they have all said same as you that it's common from 18-24 weeks and the symptoms that describe is what I've got it just scared me waking up to period pains and Lower back ache, I'll take paracetamol and see if that helps if it's still same later or gets worse I'll call her, my belly is getting bigger and I'm itchy all over my belly and boobs too so I'm hoping it's just stretching when it's my first I go into panic mode with everything that's new or I'm not sure off thankyou candy xx

They've gone now thankyou had the odd twinge but that's it I've not moved at all today xx

I had this from 15-19 weeks daily. Its stretching pains and I found once my bump popped properly at 19 weeks they stopped

I’ve had cramps since the start of my pregnancy, feels like a constant period which sucks! At least there’s something good coming from these pains!

If you are ever concerned always give the midwives a call, they would rather put your mind at ease than have you worry yourself sick
