Does anyone know any websites or books that spell out simply how to do pelvic floor exercises? I was talking to some friends last night about them and they said I should start doing them asap. I have looked around for instructions, but I just can't comprehend what I'm supposed to be doing, or if I am doing them right!

Any ideas? :?

You can feel your pelvic floor muscles if you try to stop the flow when you're having a wee. To strengthen your pelvic floor muscles squeeze/ tense muscles as if trying to stop the wee flow which is a sort of inward upward feeling 10-15 times in a row. You're not supposed to hold your breath or tense up anywhere else when you do it, so keep relaxed whilst squeezing them. Try holding the squeeze for a few seconds and gradually you'll be able to hold them for 10 seconds each.

It definately gets easier the more you do of them and you can do them anywhere and no-one will even know!!
