We booked a holiday for over easter at a caravan park in wales and we picked it specifically because it has a pool for DD and a toddlers splash pool for eefie. A week before we're due to go they write to us to say due to unforseen circumstances the pool will not be open until 1st May

I am really pissed! I'm sure its because the site isnt fully booked and they wont pay for a lifeguard. They must have known this when booking and said nothing.

How are we expected to cancel now, find another site, get a refund off them and pay for the new site in a week!

Next time it will be abroad!!! We could have gone the canaries for 200 quid more for ALL of us but I wont travel when pregnant. You can see why people dont holiday in britain much anymore when they treated like that

Tell them you want a discount because they are not providing the facilities you have paid for, then use the money you get back to take the kids to the local leisure centre
