I've read a report about pcos and breast feeding. Common to have little or no milk production for breast feeding? This is something I really want to do but worried I wont be able to.

Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance.xx

Never heard about that but might explain why my boobies havent changed

my boobs havent really changed so far, just nipples darkened n lumpy bits. i havent got pcos so dont know if that will make you feel better kn

I haven't gotten as far as feeding yet, but i'm using the pump to express to try and move things along. Not getting a lot, but a far amount considering the baby isn't even here yet. I have PCOS, i even co-ran a forum for sufferers and i've never heard of anyone not being able to because of it

When I had bloods taken I was told I was low in prolactin which is relevant to milk production - and I have Pcos. I wonder if this will mean I can't breastfeed!! Boooooo! :(

Hopefully we will all be able to with no problems. Fingers x! xx

interesting point. i've been wondering why mine haven't grown either?! i have mild pcos so i wonder if its the same for me. might be one to ask the midwife!?

xx

Interesting article, I think I fall under one of the categories. We will see if I have problems I guess but I was wondering why my breasts didn't develop during the pregnancy and I am
near 38 weeks
