does anyone with pcos get sharp pains around there ovary/uterus areas? its awful n is really painful but only lasts like 5 minutes then goes away then couple hours later comes back :/ im worried.

I frequently get pains, i don't think as painful as you're describing though. Is it at certain times of the month or just throughout the month? Have a word with the doc if you're worried x

throughout the month, went to doctors today she's done my bloods today so ringing me tomorrow and I mentioned about the pain n she just said once bloods are back will take it futher as possibility I am pregnant so did blood pregnancy test too x

bloods came back positive so im pregnant.. next step is to ring midwife get booked in and ill be consultant led because of previous miscarriages xx

Congratulations! Fx for a super sticky one for you this time. All the best xx

This is such good news!

I have PCOS, currently TTC, and have those sharp pains too, but saying that i get them around the time of AF too!

congratulations :)

xx

yeah the pains still keep coming but i am cramping in uterus now too fx for you xx

For anyone else reading this, I have these stabbing pains frequently throughout the month, low down in the pelvis and sometimes in my sides kind of like a stitch. I've had PCOS for years and i've never been pg so I'd imagine it's a common side effect! :)

Congrats on the good news :)

x

I went to doctors due To the pain our describing , had a scan and blood tests and this is how I was diagnosed, I've also got swollen ovaries and a mass covering my left ovary so in a bit ov a mess ATM..

Booked in with my consultant in a few weeks to see where I can from here ttc

All new to pcos, still getting to grips with it x
