PC History help

Okie, so it's not a technical thing related to the forum, but I'm trying to find the history of sites that my laptop has been on, but I regularly delete the temporary internet files, cookies and history in the 'internet options'. Is there a way of doing it please? Help me prove to OH that I am cleverer than he is!!

Data recovery software is the only way AFAIK
