my uncle has an paypal acount and he has just rang me asking wot it ment if there is a negative balance, he hasnt used it for ages and i didnt know so wondered if u guys did

If he has an ebay seller account set up it could be charges that have been made with no balance to cover them? I cant think of any other reason, but the paypal site should have a help/faq section with the answer in there somewhere!

Yes it means that something has been payed for and there are no funds in his bank account (or where ever the money comes from)!

His account will be frozen untill he pays it, he will have to wait a week or so for it to clear once it's payed!

H needs to go onto his paypal account, and choose the add funds option, then he needs to add the amount of the unavailabe balance and it will clear it within 7-9 workinf days!

There should be a link on there to explain what he has to do
