What is everyone doing to pass the time during the day. I am getting too big to clean, although I do my best to get as much washing done as possible.

I have heard if you clean to much (I mean exsessive) then it could be not great for baby as he/she would be more prone to pick up everyday bugs etc. I have bleeched ill my hearts contempt in he bahroom and kitchen but perhaps this isn't such a good idea?

xxx

you wait you wont be able to do it everyday when you got a baby, and no in my opinion there is never too clean. Dont get obsessed by it though hun. Thats coming from me...and I was cleaning the chrome door handles today with windowlene, cleaned my shower cubicle with Domestos Limescale (yes toilet cleaner in the black bottle) but thtas the only thing that removes limescale immediately.... so maybe dont listen to me hey ha ha :)

I think the thing about not wanting things too clean is more relevant AFTER baby comes along and as he/she grows up. Yes you want things clean, but LO needs to be exposed to a certain level of "dirt" (not the technical term!:)) and germs as they grow so their immune system develops antibodies against things. Obviously this doesn't apply from when their teeny tiny but I certainly wouldn't be too heavy handed with bleach etc...

Thanks girlies, advice taken. I'll be getting oh to clean in the meantime lol xx

i think the cleaning thing is just natural im doing it all the time.

my friend who is very house proud never used anti bacterial cleaning products so her LO when she was toddling picked up the normal everyday germs, its meant to make the immune system stronger. im gonna do this as i think its a good idea,

my gran used to say 'youll eat a mountain of muck by the time your 5 and it wont hurt you' to my kids when they were little, never did do them any harm lol
