My friend went to the mother care one and said it was good!

We went to the mothercare one, got a few snippets of info but nothing I would totally say was worthwhile. The biggest thing was we got 2 vouchers with a 10% discount and we used it and saved nearly £200 when buying our pram and crib so was brilliant. We then used the second voucher for our mattress and bedding set, includes sale items too so we paid £140 for the whole lot which was brilliant.

So when I saw the Mamas & Papas one I couldn't help but book just in hope they have a voucher too. And it's a bit of a day out for us haha xx

Im going for the discounts too haha. You got some good savings. This is the only way I can get o/h to buy the high end items.

Mind you it's only a 2 hour event although I was expecting a whole day?

This is our first too I just didn't really learn much. I found it was mainly demos and not much use apart from the odd bits. The Mothercare event was split into groups where we rotated between 4 sections after 10 minutes, so there wasn't really much to learn I didn't think. Definitely recommend going though regardless. Xx

I ended up going to Mothercare event yesterday and it felt like they were just pushing their products. What did you think?

Yeah it felt more like they wanted you to spend money. There wasn't really much happening at our one.

You get a 10% discount for on the night and another 10% discount to use again between a couple weeks date x

Yeah it can be used on anything in-store we saved £300 on our silver cross and nursery stuff

I heard mama's and Papas give you a goody bag which contains some clothing? Don't know how true that is. I got a free tommee tippee bottle and some other trial packs from the Mothercare event.

When we went last month you got two vouchers that started that weekend and lasted for about 2/3 weeks which I thought was really good. We used it against the newest silver cross (which the lady mentioned you weren't previously able to spend it on!) xx

Well I didn't rate the M&P event, but Olivia was right - we got a matching 0-3m vest and bib! And a little soft newborn rattle which is cute. Xx
