Hi everyone
I’m 5 weeks and one day preg. Does anyone know the safe answer about paracetomols? Different practitioners have told me different things. Last night I ended up ringing NHS direct about my pounding headache as I was in tears. She said that basic paracetomols were ok but nothing with caffeine in, i.e. extra strong types. Then my fellow pregnant friend looked at me in disgust when I told her this morning that I had hit the paracetomols last night.
Thanks
Laura

its personal choice.
Its supposed to be safe to take paracetamol buti wouldn't take anything or drink alcohol at your stage in pregnancy when the baby is developing. You just NEVER know.
but i know people who have drank smoked and taken loads of medication in pregnancy all the way through - its personal choice.

normal paracetomols are safe in pregnancy. i think its about the only thing that is apart from im taking ventolin (inhaler) as well as been wheezy and this is ok as well :)
