Hi not sure if I posted this here before after I ovulate starting from 1dpo I am getting af type pains till around 6dpo. The pains goes away slowly but it’s not a constant pain it’s like little niggles but sometimes really sharp. When I get these that’s how I know I didn’t get pregnant. It’s annoying to know this from 1 or 2dpo to be honest so I can even hope. Anyone has experienced something similar?

Hi Maximus, I got strong ovulation pains and could feel sore for a few days after most months and it turns out I get follicular cysts quite often. I only found out for sure during IVF as the time the doc sent me for a scan seemed to be the wrong time of my cycle.

You should ask your doctor to arrange a scan for the right dates to find out what is going on x

thanks , I wonder what this pain is so I will ask my GP to refer me

and also I wonder if this problem if there is a problem causing me not to get pregnant....

Weridly enough i get really bad pain when i do get pregnant, if i have no pain means i havent succeded that month. I have a fee niggles when i ovulate and dont. Ive had loads of scans and therea nothing wrong with my ovaries. You should ask for an internal scan for womb, tubes and ovaries see of theres anything wrong x

I had some scans before and also laparoscopy for mild endo, and I haven't been told there is nothing wrong, but I feel there is as these pains are so different, I never had them 2 years ago. It's more frustrating as doctors saying nothing wrong so why can't I get pregnant, we are using fertility monitor, doing the right time, all that still nothing. I just feel like time is ticking for us as I am nearly 40 and it's never going to happen, but I feel these pains I get straight after ovulation is causing some problems...

Ask to see another dr? You could pay private i think its around 100 for an internal to look for problems. But shouldnt have to! I think at 40 you should be getting help ttc aftet 6-12 months ttc. X

hi Peanutbutter, the lap was done privately , that was like 6 months ago, also my GP told me they won't cover any fertility treatments for 2 years and also I have a child already so I just need to get pregnant naturally
