pain - TMI

woke up with a stomach ache around 6am this morning which made me moan abit in pain, since then i have had maybe 2 or 3 mild pains throughout the day. Cant decide if its to do with bowel movements or not? although i have been twice today, once after initial pain at 6am and then one later in the day. Any thoughts ladies?

Could just be your cervix starting to ripen and dilate. Ive had crampy period type pains since i was 40weeks. They stated off mild, But gradually got stronger. I thought at one point i was actually in labour it was so painful, Sometimes had a difficult job telling if they were "upset tummy pains" to. But then saw my midwife and i was only 1-2cms dilated and cervix was 1cm long. but soft. she told me that the pains had obviously been doing something. So your pains could be doing something to prepare you for labour too.
Hopefully your LO will arrive on time.
I am 10 days overdue and scheduled for an induction sunday .
