Packing for moving!

Is it possible to take full drawers out of things and just move them that way?! Like my DVD drawer out the tv unit and the clothes drawers?! Would make life so much easier!

Are you getting a van?

It can be done, take the drawers out, transfer to van, put them back in and push drawers against the side so they don't open in transit

I would! Lol just make sure they dont fall about and spill! X

We did that when we moved, just make sure that you wedge the drawers so they can't open or wrap them tight with a blanket if you're loading them loose.

I'm getting a van for a day, but I'm thinking they'll probs end up on the back seat of my car! I've never had to move a whole house before, so even tho This is the 6th lot of moving I've done in the last 4 years it's a new one to me!

Bollocks ive just thought! I'm meant to be getting a van cheap thru a friend, but I don't think the guy realises my age! And there's minimum age requirements aren't there?! Think I might have to call in a favour with daddy!!

I think it depends on where you go but some places do insist on the driver being over 25 - I very comfortably qualify sadly lol!!

Packing fir moving = worst. job. ever. Don't envy you Hun! Although it's always nice in a new place isn't it

I think it's 25 as well, sadly i'm over qualified as well!
Having done it 3 times myself, i have learnt that it always takes longer than you expect to pack the van up
