Ovulation question

I seem to be ovulating earlier and earlier - it looks like its going to be today cd 9 or tomorrow cd10 this month - last month is was cd11 - my cycles are 27/28 days long - does this early ovulating mean anything? I thought the average day to ov was cd 14?

Thats just an average, our first phase before ovulation can vary every month, but our second phase (Luteal Phase) will always stay the same which is between 12-16days that is why we have different length cycles if our first changes.
