Hi girls,
I always thought I had my ovulation at about cd15 as I could feel mild cramps etc... However this month was different. I had unprotected sex on cd8 and then cramps and a lot of mucus on cd10.. Now on cd15 I had again mild cramps. I read somewhere that the cramps don't mean you are ovulating at that exact day, but you can experience cramps before or even after ovulation.
I am very confused now, cause I am not sure if the sperm triggered early ovulation on cd10 (heard that's possible too) and today's cramps were post ovulation, or what is going on? :P
What are your cycles and what day do you ovulate? Supposedly a woman doesn't ovulate same day every month, but if I have cramps always on cd15, could I always ovulate on same day every cycle?

If I wasn’t temping and using opk’s then I wouldn’t have a clue what was going on with my ovulation and yes, I do get pains also, I wouldn’t really call them cramps.

Haven’t heard about sperm triggering ovulation either. Ovulating on the same day really depends on the regularity of your cycle and the length of your luteal phase. For example my cycle length has been 27 days the last two cycles and my luteal phase is usually 12 days therefore I ovulated on cd 15 but I’ve had other cycles when I’ve ovulated a day or two either side and my cycle length has varied.

If I were you I’d start trying to monitor your cycle and that will give you the information you need about your ovulation.

It would be so much easier if every woman ovulated on the same day every month :P but yes I need to start monitoring it to get a better idea! Thank you for ur response :)
