So I am referring to long-haul travel including multiple time-zone changes.

1. I started a period on the first leg of my flight (29th March). I've done quite a bit of travelling since then (still ongoing) and April is our first month TTC. Lots of BD throughout the entire month.
2. Expecting AF between CD27-29 (avg 27 day cycle).
3. FRER yesterday (CD 26 Neg :( ) and so just clinging onto hope that perhaps I ovulated later than normal because of travelling and I'm earlier in my dpo than normal?
4. I expect my normal ovulation is CD 13-14 (based on a few months of OPKs alone).

Anyone know anything about this? Also, anyone gone onto have BFP even with negative tests right at the end of their cycle?

Appreciate any thoughts :)

I have never got a BFP or anything, but I know people who didn't get a BFP until way after their expected period (some even a couple months). Everyone is so different though and that doesn't mean it will be like that for you. Try testing again a few days after your missed period. Good luck! <3

Thanks alwayscoffee. CD28 and still BFN. Trying to prepare mind for AF, but still holding hope of course! Won't test until a few days late now.

Our first 2 cycles were this way. My flights were 25 hours each way and I had a +16 hour time change. Travelling can delay ovulation and even your period.

I would suspect that if you were travelling around ovulation OR your period, that it was probably delayed a couple of days as that happened with me BUT everyone is different.

Also I made sure that I kept track of my period in the particular time zone that it started. Since you could loose a day or gain one when travelling....

Best of luck!! <3

Thanks! It's been so hard to track as my first timezone change was +11 hrs and then -20hrs after going over the intl date line to the south pacific, then forwards again. I suspect my period will be a bit late this month!

Yeah, it's hectic, I know! I keep a clock widget on my phone to remind me what time and day it is!

Do you guys travel all the time?

Travel can royally screw your menstrual cycle! You could still be in with a shot.

No, just an extended holiday incl. honeymoon :)

Oh I hope so! Def keeping everything crossed! :) I normally get some cramping and then AF within an hour or so. Had the cramping yesterday morning and still nothing which is strange. We shall see!
