Ovulating or not ?

I ordered some OPK test kits from amazon. I used one yesterday and it was very faded so I’m not entirely sure if the faded line meant I am not fertile or it was invalid . Today I had egg white discharge so I took another text but again it’s hard to tell if it’s negative or invalid as it was another faded line . What else could the egg white discharge mean if it doesn’t mean ovulating and also are there other obvious signs of ovulating ?

Just keep on with your opks every day until you start to see the test line get darker. Once it gets dark start testing twice a day until you get your peak.
You got a faded line because it hasn’t picked up the lh surge which means your currently not about to ovulate.

Hi, I’m useless with all ovulation kits and trying to read them! I bought the clear blue advanced fertility monitor and love it. It’s more expensive but it tracks your cycles and the digital monitor clearly states the days you are at low, high and peak fertility. I think they’re about £150 brand new just for the monitor but I bought mine second hand for £60 and the packs are about £30 but these include 20 ovulation sticks and 4 pregnancy sticks as it can also be used to test for pregnancy.
