ov pain, but no positive opk?

I'm having what I think is ovulation cramps in my left handside. But I've pee'd on 2 ov sticks and both say negative. Can you get cramping for a while before ovulation? Because I've read that the pains meaning the egg has matured and been released, so if that's the case then I should be getting positive opks right?

I would have imagined u should have got pos opks yesterday or say before, how often were u testing? They say u get a pos opk 12 to 36 hours before actually ov? Maybe u missed the surge?

I've been peeing on stick 3 - 4 times a day for the last 4 days. And peeing on sticks since cd6. I've been addicted so I would have thought I'd have caught the surge. X

Hi Emma, i have had months when i get no positive on opk then get ov pain - and yes very annoying. I now chart my temps so know that i have ov'ed because i get the temp jump.

I guessits just our bodies being difficult!
