Well as per my previous threads, I've turned to formula due to tongue tie.

Haven't attempted to bf all day and by 5pm my boobs were huge and sooooo sore! So, while I'm still making it, I may as well express it. Eases the pain and josh still gets some breast milk. Tonight, after a day of no bf, I expressed 12oz! That's enough for two feeds lol. I had to do something as there was major leakage! My top was soaked! I wore breast pads just incase. But it was like using a sieve to hold water in!

How do u feel about expressing until your supply dries? Then he gets best of both worlds, or is it too painful?

The ouch was more due to the fact my boobs were so full and sore. Expressing was a relief. I think I'll keep expressing until it runs dry. Shame to put it to waste. defo doesn't put me off bf baby number two. I will just get mw to check for tongue tie straight away. Fingers crossed I will be able to last longer next time.xx

That's a great amount,if u keep expressing u won't dry up but u might drop the amount. well done x

The MW told me to express six times a day to keep up maximum supply so if you just do it a bit a day your amount will drop but you shouldnt dry up well done btw xx
