opk vs calendar?

Hey all,I'm slightly confused,I had my period 11 days ago and I've been using opk's since day after period,I've had 1 line only not even a faint second one!my period lasted 8 days and I calc it as a 31 day cycle surely I shud be ovulating or else I've feckin missed it again!Or I don't ov at all which is possible! My head is pickled :S x

So you're cd 19? You could still ovulate on a 31 day cycle, plus you don't really know how long your cycle is going to be until you ovulate.

A women's luteal phase tends to stay the same give of take a day, but when a women ovulates can fluctuate a few days and therefore so can her cycle length.

Just keep testing Hopefully it will happen sooner rather than later.

If not, just repeat next cycle and if you still don't get a second line you need to go and see your GP.

Thanks Louise will keep testing but i reckon i'll be off to the docs sooner rather than later, i had a feeling

you may just be a late ovulator as louise says

Keep up the testing throughout the cycle. Are you testing in the afternoon? You aren't supposed to drink too much before hand as you don't want your wee to be diluted too much
