Hello, I was wanting to see what people thought about my number 1choice name (at the moment �&#56842
My due date is on my late grans birthday. She was called Constance but got called Connie, at the minute that is the only name me and my husband both like!!
What are peoples thoughts please

Cute. I like the older names, much more than the modern names which are cropping up. Plus it has a nice story behind it.

I like it. It's different but everyone has heard of the name, you just don't get many people called that these days.

I love it. I love the older style names that aren't grannyish if you know what I mean? Elsie is on my list for a girl, but OH hates it, he prefers more modern names - we're at loggerheads!

I agree with Kedi, everyone will have heard the name so it's not weird, just uncommon, and that's lovely!

I like it, we would consider it too as it's my maiden name, only trouble is my Dads nickname is Connie!! So not sure what he would think...!

Love the name Constance. Was my Great Grandmother's name. If grub holds on in there we did toy with Constance if it's a girl but are going with Victoria (OH's grandmother). Love 'old' names :d

I'm not so keen on Constance but I love Connie - I suggested it when we found out we were team pink, he just said what like 'Connie Connie Connie' from the peter Kay stand up - it put me off but I do still really like it!! Xx
