This morning I checked my CP in the shower (as usual) and couldn't find it, but did find LOADS of eggwhite CM. So after jumping my husband I though I'd do an OPK to double check whether I was Oving.

But ran out of time.

Had been at work for an hour and was skiving off, checking Fertility Friend when I remembered I was going to do an OPK. Took myself off to the toilet with my little notebook, pack of OPKs and a cup and did my thing.

Then I heard someone looking for me. I'd already dipped the stick by this point, so it was a case of wrap it up in toilet paper, dump my stuff in a box under the sink where I figure no one will look for it and dash back out.

Sorted out the problem that I was needed for and then looked at my computer screen to see that I'd never minimised the FF.com site! Argh!. Don't think anyone saw but I was mortified.

Finally got back to the OPK after about half an hour when I thought it was safe to go back to the toilet to retrieve it. There's a faint faint line (so they're getting darker) but it's not even a positive. All that work for nothing.

Looking back it is kind of hilarious but my heart was pounding at the time. lol luckily the calendar on FF.com doesn't look that different to the calendar we use at work.

Not going to make that mistake twice, obsessively compulsively minimizing it any time anyone looks my way now (& checking it on my phone instead )

Windows key + D = desktop. My lifesaver more than once!! Just press again to go back to where u were. Add a look of butter wouldn't melt and no sod's the wiser. X

lol that is a nifty shortcut. Nearly got caught out again trying to examine my OPKs I'll never learn.

Kizzi, I have done something very similar!
A few weeks ago when I thought I was OV-ing, I took an OPK to work. We use paper cups for water so I had to try and sneak one into my bag and nip into the ladies without anyone noticing. Managed to pee (quite loudly onto the cardboard!) but I was in such a hurry I dunked the test in past the max line - doh!

Can't imagine having that problem.

Working from home, everything is handily here ready for me.

Have to agree Sylvie, would make a great sketch for us but perhaps not so good for all the non TTCers, they'd prob be grossed out by talk of things like CM etc.
