Was getting ready for work yesterday morning when I managed to do something very strange to my back. Given I'm already preggers, you lot with dirty minds can go ahead and rule out any baby-making type injuries
I was walking back from the wee girls room into our room with just a towel covering my modesty when I put my foot to the floor to walk and something just gave. DH had to carry me into the bedroom where I have lived pretty much since. Phoned GP who said no ibuprofen which is what I'd guessed so I'm stuck with paracetamol and a heat pack. Got a GP appointment tomorrow and thankfully DH is driving and can carry me about the place. If this had happened (or does happen) when I'm further on what on earth would I have done? I am prone to back problems but only if I've been stupid and lifted something heavy. I've never wrecked my back in this way before so obviously I'm worried it could be something that will re-occur.
DH reckons I could be off the rest of the week and not be driving any time soon. Imagine if my back went whilst driving the 60mph country roads on the way to work with nowhere to pull over?
