Im watching Sally on ITV2 and its saying about a 9 year old boy who lived in America with his dead Mums body keeping it a secert for a whole month because he said he'd rather live with her dead than not there at all

some ppl are too much :puke:

My mum (who used to be in housing) worked on a case where this lad (about 19) came home one day and found his mum dead on the kitchen floor. Anybody else would have called an ambulance or the police or something, right? He just stepped over her. He made his dinner while she was still on the floor, got changed, went out for the night, came back and went to bed. He didnt report it until the next day. How much does that say about what he thought of his poor mum? And that was in Nottingham, not some strange hill billy place in america

Oh thats awful, it makes me mad to think he could do that to the lady who brought him into this world, who fed him, changed his bum, looked after him when he was unwell. Some people!

That's really sad :( It's awful what grief does to some people.

He was only 9 aswell  Poor little soul.

Poor little mite! At that age you don't really understand. He certainly wouldn't have known that you have a legal obligation to report it ASAP (I'm presuming it's the same in the States). They can't have had many friends and family around, either, as it would have been spotted earlier. I have every sympathy for the poor little kid.

Thats what I dont understand, his granma didn't live far away either (she is now his legal guardian) It was only once a family friend pop in from another state that he mentioned it. He'd apparently told his school friends but they were told to keep it a secret. It took a whole month
