OMG OMG OMG !! My due date has finally arrived

It sounded a bit scary, 2 fingers up there and them feelin my most inner bits, it just didnt appeal to me !!
Anyway im sure my hubby wont mind improvisin' He could perhaps do it himself..? All they do is feel your cervix and stretch it, i think id be more comfortable with him doin it anyway!!
Anyway grrr, still nothink, it would be just my luck i go into really quick labour and deliever later today imagine beeing born at 06.06 on 06/06/06 Arghhhhhhh

THERE HAS BEEN PROGRESS!!!
Monday: At the hospital ruteine appt, they mentioned about the stretch and sweep, and i said no not yet, ,and to wait 14 days they agreed to my wishes.
Also got told he is 3/5 engaged. Also found protein in my urine, although they said b/p was fine nothing else to be done.
Tuesday: Midwife came round to check on me. I asked if stretch and sweep was possible at the surgery later she said yes ok. Bp was cheaked and normal.
At the surgery she performed the stretch and sweep, she said my cervix was soft, central and i AM 1CM DILATED !!!
Yipee!!
I know it can still take a while but im on that road!!
thought id let you all know, im sure your all desprate to hear my news, i shall keep you posted !!

Still here, still waiting, no other news...
Husband had a internal feel of me earlier and said i was little more dilated than before seeing the midwife and beein told 1cm dilated, so he rekons about 2cm dilated.
Shall let you all know soon i hope i have this baby nrly a week overdue, tommorow is a week overdue arghhhhhhhhhhh

Hubby isnt a midwife but its easy to see how much we are dilated as once there hand is in they feel how many fingers if any they can fit through, and he managed 2 fingers which is how he knew.
Well nearly 9 days overdue, yesterday woke up with severe lower abdominal cramps, was cramping all day yesterday and most of today.
Thinking this could be it, either that or my inner scar stretching more.
Havent called midwife, will go into hospital tommorow for some monitoring if im still in this much pain.
Thanks ladies for ur moral support, its tough beeing preg for so long in ths heat aswell..and my poor back well thts really given up the ghost, i can bearly stand up straight with this lower abdominal pains im getting!!

xxxx just to let u kno... my little james came into ths wrld at 03.00am sunday morning at home, with just gas and air!!
Weighin in at 7lb 8oz and givin me a 2nd degree tare of which i havent and dont want any stitches for!!!
labour = 19 hour
pushin = 20 min,
1 push and he was delivered, u shud c the pics of my face !!!! lol
