OMG i was only offcially declared homeless a week ago and I got a letter though telling me they have got me somewhere to live already!
They have offered us a 2 bedroom bungalow in a town only 7 miles away from where we are now and I couldnt be more excited!
Such good news after loosing our oub and home up north and moving away from our mates.Im so happy im sitting here sobbing!!!

Will be staying here though till the babys born cos im near the hospital but I will get all my stuff moved etc and make sure it has carpets and is decorated before i move out of here.

Am guba miss my MIL, shes been fabulous

I know this is in the wrong place but all of you tri 3ers know what i have been going through the last few months andI wanted you all to share in my good news!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Its in a nice area, not bad bungalow at all, massive garden that needs loads of work but will be fab when its all finished and needs serious decorating.
Wont say small, will say compact and will look great with all my stuff in.
Just thankful the kids can call somewhere home.

I'm so pleased you have been found a nice home just before the arrival of your little one. Oh and welcome to the "moving home when heavily pregnant" club...just make sure you don't do too much, take it from me the packing, moving etc can get exhausing!! xx

I will be packing up the stuff but im not moving any of it, thats for men to do.Even if i have had the baby i wont be doing it - i have the i have kids to look after excuse

That's brilliant news Sarah - exactly what you were hoping for. I hope it's a lovely place and you and your new expanded family are really happy there.

Best wishes to you all!

Valentine xxx

Thanks Valentine, I dont mind doing the hard slog to make it lovely, but im just hoping it has a garden for the children so they can enjoy the rest of summer and tommo and i can enjoy it with them.

Im so happy its unreal

 yay sarah, thats fab news.. im so glad you have somewhere you will call your own, and i agree about getting it ready now before lo comes you dont wanna be doing it when shes here.. good luck with it all...

great news!! :cheer:
good luck with the move and I hope it has a garden for you and lots of nice parks nearby :D

Congrats lovie, wish our council worked that quick we've been told 11 years if we stay in our borough or min of 3 if we move to my mum's borough

im so pleased for you sarah   bet you are so excited

just make sure you dont do too much, leave it all to your hubby :)

When i first saw the title i thought you was going to say your waters had broke!!

That's good news!
I have the health visitor coming to look at my flat on Tuesday because it's no place for a baby so she is going to try and get me out of there before the baby comes.

Good luck vicky, i hope she deems it not suitable and writes a letter to your local council and gets you somewhere too.

I hope so too because it's such a mess and it seems to get worse. The girl upstairs is a druggy and is always leaving water running when she goes out which floods me. There are damp patches on every wall in the flat and in the babys room the condensation (sp?) on the window gets really bad and leaves mould on the window sill.
It's really small as well and only has one bedroom which just about fits a cot in there so we have to sleep on a sofa bed in the livingroom.
At night we hear scrabbling and gnawing behind the walls and just recently we had a bad flea problem but no one in the other 2 flats has a pet and we don't so it has to be mice or rats.

God thats awful, you cant stay there and if its mouldy damp and full of bloody bugs its defintely not suitable for a baby.
Hope they move you soon sweetie and you can be posting on here all happy like me!
