Needing a poo, i know i need one before i have got the urge to have one if you know what i mean, i have just for the past hour been in excrusiating pain, coming and going and tbh, i honestly was expecting blood to follow it was that bad, i was nearly sick, didnt really feel like i needed the loo and plus was geting me and gal some food from the local takeaway, im there nearly being sick. Got home and sorry for tmi, had a poo, goes into see hope before she goes sleep and goes dpown stairs to eat, still feeling iffy, 3 chips in omg its back again for the 5 th time, i ran upstairs thinking omg im gonna be sick but i decided to try go toilet again, did another ahem you know what, what relief. Been fine for the past 15 mins  Omg was so scared, had to check with the doppler and bubs seems ok, will check again in a bit, i know i shouldnt but im just wanting to check, feel fone again now though, its the worst its ever been, i hope it doesnt get even worse when baby gets bigger :(

You poor thing! SOunds a bit scary...is there anything you can eat that might help, erm, move things along a bit more smoothly? I know coffee and orange juice normally make things shoot out of me (tmi?!). Might be worth mentioning to your doc if you're worried it might get worse.

There's nothing glamorous about being pregnant is there!

Mel I had to drink lactulose at the beginning as I got so bunged up :D I'm trying to eat lots of fruit and drink fruit juice and it seems to help..... Poor you it is agony

Suggest you get a lot more fibre in your diet and increase your water intake if its on the low side. Both will help things move through your system. Also walking around will help you go, rather than sitting on the loo waiting. And elevating your feet about half a foot from the ground when sitting on the loo.

Eat Weetabix for breakfast every day. And if you can tolerate it, drink things like prune juice.

Thanks sherlock, your always there for advise, would shreddies work at all as i hate weetabix :puke: Also prune juice blech ming, ill try drinking more water and stuff but tbh its not like im all bunged up, im stll going like normal, its just the pain i dont understand, feel ok today checked on bubs and it seems ok troo

Im hopin g im not getting spd this time as sometimes i get stabbing pains in my hips, and also the pain went round my sides last night not just in my tummy :( I need a hug today i feel down

I've got funny bowels too hun- at the weekend I was a bit bunged up which never happens to me usually and I felt SO ill on Sunday, I was feeling slighty chilly and had the worst headache- all finally went when I finally managed to! I'm on four prunes a day now, I was already drinking lots of water but the prunes tend to do it for me. Oh the fun eh? I still have piles from having Mel (the labour rather than the pregnancy) although funnily enough the acupuncture I've been having has really helped those- very odd as it's not one of those things I thought it would have an effect on but it does seem to for me!

Huge hugs hun   hope it's not SPD, a mate of mine who is about 16 weeks pg was telling me that a chiropractor really helped with SPD that she got in the first tri, she's not got it now...

hope it soon eases.
is it giving you backache aswell?

Its mainly in my tummy tbh although it went round my sides, im still so scare dits something else, maybe its the reason im feeling down today :(

i felt crap when i had mine, still feel bunged up some days, when i went to the hospital at weekend she asked if i could be constipated and stuck something up my bum to check!

not very pleasant!

i was getting pains in my stomach when i had it the worst cos i wanted to go but i couldn't.
as soon as i managed to go though they went.

i get that sometimes too hun, but then i used to get it before i was pregnant because i suffer from IBS.
I get SPD too im hopeing it won't come back this time, ive had a few mild symptoms of it this time but nothing compared to my pregnancy with my 4th.
