Okay girlies!!!!

Okay girlies, i know we're all a little bit scared right now and sad for our friends who have lost there beans recently but lets not get down in dumps about this. After all, it isnt something in the water and mc isnt infectious every pregnancy is different.

after all 80% of all pregnancy's end in a healthy baby.
1 out of 5 pregnancy's end in miscarriage which means 4 out 5 dont!
and 1 out of a 100 have recurrent miscarriages very low!

the rate of miscrriage falls very low the further on you are to something like 9%

every pregnancy has its own risk but as someone who has had a previous mc im trying to see this as a fresh pregnancy with its own chance.

we are so lucky to have fallen pregnant in the first place so lets celebrate that fact and enjoy our pregnancies!!! after all stressing will not do our little beans any good!!


so i thought in this thread we could put all the happy thoughts we have down!! all the excitement and good feelings and all the things we are looking forward to!!!

so ill start!! i feel so happy and lucky!! love my bean so much already! i wake up with a smile on my face that dosnt disappear! im so looking forward to seeing my bean on a screen and hearing there little heartbeat! then going shopping and buying cute little things! wbu????

This is a lovely thread - thanks minxies!! I love my little bean so much too!! I have got 13 days until I see the little one again and I cannot wait!! I have been shopping already and bought a little outfit that says I love daddy and I am going to give it to my OH one the day of the scan! I also bought a doppler so I can hear LO heartbeat and it has made me fall even more in love with my little baby!! So happy! xx

I am so enjoying watching my boyfriend going from the grinch into daddy mode. He's started laughing at the baby adverts on tv and I showed him a baby t-shirt online that said "daddy's lil fishing buddy" and he went all squiffy lmao. Am also enjoying gagging when I wash the dishes cos he takes over and tells me to rest.....result

aww they are both soo cute!!! my OH is daddy mad already! he cant wait! any cute baby we walk past he's like look look over there haha! and he is already talking to my tummy and saying hello baby. so cute!!

PMSL!!! i have the opposite problem my bf is so happy thats all he can think off!! iv said cuz of my previous mc im not gunna bd until my 12week scan so he is slowly going mad haha!!!!!!

Thanks minxies this is what we needed I think.

My OH wakes up every morning and lays on my tummy and says good morning to our baby and throughout the day or evening when we are alone he will kiss my belly and tell the baby off for making mummy feel like rubbish. If I have a pain he will rub it (he always has very hot hands - bonus!!!) and he takes over most of the housework cos in his words " you shouldn't be doing to much". He worries because of our previous mc. I love him talking to my tummy I have welled up a few times but I am blaming hormones. I do love him so much and I am so looking forward to telling my 13 year old cos he will just be the best big brother ever. xxx

The sites called cafepress......beware some of them are a bit offensive but others are hilarious. Theres a baby grow that says "don't laugh that's my dad" hahahaha and another that says "are these people really my relatives?" I will order all three I reckon lol xxxxx

Hey Hun, it says on the Doppler I got that you can use it from 9 weeks - I had to use it with a full bladder today and still took me a while to find the little one! I am so happy with it - I'd def recommend one honey xxx

WHat a lovely thread... Its great to read the happiness everyone feels. In fact im sat here crying!
I am desperate for my baby to make it - It has brought me and my O/H so close, so much more deeply in love than before - he has been my absolute pillar of strength, he speaks to my tummy each day, telling our little 'nugget' to look after me. Whilst im struggling with positivity when he beams like that it makes my heart swell.
I was born to be a mummy, I dont care what I face I am determined to fulfill my calling, Children are my passion, my career and my ambition....
My partner is truly the most wonderful man on earth, he laughs at the prospect of my mummy bum developing, he reads my pregnancy books and begs me to tell him something he doesnt know, he kisses my bruised stomach so softly, he has holds me through my fears.... our love and closeness has grown deeper than ever before and we have a strength between us... all because of our special baby xxxxxxx

Just read through all these posts, how lovely to hear all the excitement. I love waking up every morning and logging onto here just to see another day down on the ticker. My OH jumped the gun a bit and has a mothercare book and has been telling me everything he wants to buy! Makes me feel all warm inside xx

What a lovely thread I've been worrying far too much the past few weeks but have started to settle down. I'm so happy that my little surprise is working hard inside me, making my belly stretch and giving me sore boobs, bad mood swings and be very very sleepy lol- it's a reminder it's there growing everyday! Also I'm so so lucky my oh is looking after me so well, sending me to bed with a dvd when I'm falling asleep really early, putting up with my mood swings, making me dinner for coming home from work and making sure I don't do too much around the house. It's amazing how much love you have for something (or someone!) so small inside u!

Keep the happiness up girlies, our wee sticky beans need us to xxxx

Aww some really lovely comments. And I agree I feel like I wasa born to be a mum more then anything in the world and its the most amazing feeling having a baby insaide you had a little happy cry today was just imagining me giving birth and seeing\holding my baby with my OH arms around us and started welling up! I can't even describe how all my dreams would come true at that moment Xx
