Ok so I was wrong....really worng!

Who would of thought that acid burn/heart burn/acid reflux that sits in your throat tubes could be so uncomfortable and at time quite painful.

I went in to hospital as my i thought my waters were leaking but it was just the 3tri discharge joys and this women who was next to me was moaning like a gooden about this acid problem and i just kept on thinking "how bad can it be" and "your in trouble when you go into labour if you think acid burn is bad" but in actual fact I can openly say I take back every single comment and swallow my words to admit it sucks big time. Bigger than a big sucking sucker! Its horrible.

Do I have any hands up in agreement here?

Lol! I've not suffered that way too bad but I keep thinking to myself when I get aches or pains to get a grip and stop moaning cos I've got labour to get through yet!

I suffer really bad but am on tablets to control it - when it flares up it gets to the stage where i'm actually going to be sick on stomach acid - not nice!

Not pregnant yet, but I have GORD (acid reflux) and unless I take medication and sleep in certain positions I wake up choking several times a night. At it's worst it happens all day as well. I have a permanent sore throat/cough from the acid burns to my oesophagus.

Not really got anything else to say other than, it's bloody nasty isn't it!

I have suffered with it on and off over the last month or 2 and I have to agree that at times it really is painful! Not nice at all, especially when trying to get to sleep! Thank goodness for gaviscon double action!!

I've had half bottle of gavison today !!! think i'm going to need omperazole at this rate !!! had it last time but not this bad !!!! xxx

ooooooh absolutely

I didn't think it was this bad, my OH gets it really bad and has to go lie down coz its so bad, I always thot he was over-reacting but I was sooooo wrong, its been making me physically sick its so bad.

I actually think sometimes i might have to go to hospital about it
