oh my god hes still asleep

Iv been having problems with Alfie napping recently as in he wont, unless hes rocked in his pram for half an hour and then he was sleeping for 10 maybe 15 minutes waking up and being over tired, so i decided to harden up and put him for naps in his cot, no rocking, well yesterday first time it took 20 mins f crying before hye went off,
next time it took 4 minutes of playing with his dog before he went off
next time i went in after going to the toilet and he was out cold bless him
1st nap he slept 40 mins 2nd nap he slept 35 mins 3rd nap nhe slept for and hour, he went to bed at half 5 and woke at half 4 for a feed went back down and hes still asleep normally hes up by now! i am pleased but keep checkin him every couple of minutes its never happened that im up before alfie before,

Blimey I've just put up a thread about this being a problem for us too. What did you do different other than put him in his cot?

that was it hun, when he got wingey i took him up and popped him in there the first time he cried and cried and cried and then dropped off, as he was used to being pushed in his pram, now he just goes off when i put him in, he has woofy (his dog) sometimes hear him talking to him and playing woth him for a few mins but he dont cry just natters then i go up and hes asleep
