Ok Emily game home from school with a letter
saying that to promote healty eating, they are haveing a fun day where children can go dressed as their favourite fruit/veg

Well i am not artistic at all and am now trying to make her a strawberry costume out of cardboard (left from OH being lazt bugger and not taking it to tip11, thank god eh?)

Oh and this has got to be done for Monday, they give loads of notice

I was a turnip once.

It was a school play when I was 4 or 5. When I came on stage in my turnip costume everyone laughed and I cried and didn't stop until I went home. No-one explained to me that I was meant to look funny...

I won a fancy dress competition when I was 5 and we were on a holiday camp. My dad cut up a cardboard box and painted it green and made it into 2 pointed bits - one on my head and one at my legs, then blew up loads of green balloons and tied them to my front, and I went as a pod of peas!! I can't get any photos as my parents are away, but I looked fab!
