I've been wondering whether to post this as it isnt really an issue, am just a bit embarrassed by it!
Jasper is 8 weeks old and weighs 14lb 3 oz. Thats a stone in weight i think!
He's on the 91st percentile!
He is only just above avarage in length, so that means he's really fat right?
I mean he has a bit of a double chin, but so do most babies i've seen, and he does have chunky legs, but otherwise he looks fairly normal to me....... Am I deluding myself.
I keep asking HV and doc and online about if i'm overfeeding and they all say the same thing - that you can not overfeed a breastfed baby.
He is 100% breastfed so far, and apparently they take what they need and no more, but if thats true then why is he such a chunky monkey?
I'm being silly for caring i know, but I really would not want one of those obese little children, thats just cruel IMO.
Sigh, just thought i'd get it out there........
