OH has finally admitted defeat!

Haha, so yesterday I was talking to my grandad and my mum...

My grandad has decided that he thinks we are having a little boy, however I'm still certain we're having a girl.

When we were discussing names, my mum said to my grandad that we need to start deciding on names now.

I said "We've already decided little girls name" with a little chuckle (Because OH has never agreed to the name I love, he just says "we'll see").

Then my mum piped up with "So that's finalised now then? Maybe Alex (OH) doesn't like that name", to which OH replied "It seems to be set it stone now, so yeah I guess so".

A bit long winded, but made me chuckle.

So Freya is definitely settled on if we have a girl.

A boys name is still yet to even be discussed... But I'm glad we've settled on something, Freya is a name that I've loved since before I even met my husband.

Any win is a win.
When I asked him after we got married if he'd enjoyed the day his response was "Yeah, it was nice".

So I don't expect a lot more than that to be honest

You've got one of them too then? A Mr Unenthusiastic! I've stopped getting my hopes up for any increase in enthusiasm here too. I did find him looking at our scan pics off his own back this morning so I should count that as a positive I suppose. I've come up with all the suggestions for bub's room etc and he hasn't been too forthcoming with suggestions for names other than dissing most of the ones I've suggested. We've got one girl's name that's the forerunner but he keeps saying we need to refer to her as an it rather than a her ad to be fair I'm not one of those people that wants to be referring to bubs with her intended name before the big day anyway. I think he's just nervous about jinxing it and I've been a bit like that all along. xxx
