amy got a really bad rash on her bum and front bit. and it seemes to get worse when she wriggles around coz she scratches it. they give me some metinum to put on 3 times a day and its pants not helping one bit i cant get an appointment on for her as they say theyve got nothing for 2 weeks. i would of went to a e but i live in the middle of nowhere just about and transport doesnt run on a sunday grrr ive tryied sodacrem even zinc and caster oil and petrolium jelly im lost coz i hat seein her like this she goes out with her grandparents and i feel that when they see her bum that im negecting her but im not ive tryied everything i can think of must of spent 50 quid on creams the last few days

Hun thats unacceptable from the Dr's. I've never been refused an appointment for my son.
Did you tell them when you ring that the appointment was for your baby?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure they have to see her within so many hrs of you requesting an appointment as she's still a baby.

Babies under one MUST be seen the same day. Thats how it works here anyway, i just assumes it was the same everywhere xx

I thought it was something like that.
When they answer the phone they tell me no appointments left but when I say its for AJ they find one!

I agree kids must be seen the same day when you phone or take them into the surgery. Although the best bum cream that I have ever found and worked everytime was Bepantham! My wee one is seven and I'm still using it!
