well i worked my last shift last night for the next 7 months and i am so excited!! :cheer: :cheer:
so glad to relax now and get things sorted, i've got loads planned including long lie ins and long baths  everyday!! and meeting with friends and i have to pack my hospital bag which i have been dying to do for a few weeks!!

i am feeling so weary and couldn't have worked anymore i think 35 weeks is a nice time to give up work.

a few of you are joining me soon so all the best, lets all rest and take it easy together, and you'll be seeing a lot more of me on here probably!!

Fabulous! Little blue woad man going to be dancing up a storm round these parts  Enjoy every second of your well-deserved maternity leave :cheer:

i amnow offically on my mat leave now to i worked my last shift today and i am going to enjoy every minute of it.

i bet your over the moon,

i havent had to work this pregnancy as ive been on the sick for the whole of it and started my maternity leave in december

and as i get finished on wednesday i wont be returning either, though the payout was worth it :cheer:

heres to lazy days and pjs

I don't work anyway...I have to say how I admire all you who have been . i find doing the housework enough LOL

Enjoy your lie ins if LO lets you

 Yay..make sure you get loads and loads of lie ins and long baths with magazines..thats what i did..and dont feel guilty about spendng a long time infront of the telly..and oh by the way..do not give yourself a long list of things to do ..just do one thing every day..

Enjoy your leave. How long are you off for?

I don't know what it's like to finish work because I'm a housewife. I too find housework enough, but I do have a massive three storey six bedroomed house to look after, which means it is like working.I'm always busy with it, but at the same time i can relax if I need to, and as I have some mental health problems it is advisable for me to do that, so I have the ideal job.

Good luck for the rest of pregnancy, and birth.

Me too, finished at 6pm :cheer:

Been a good experience there but as I'm agency I wont be going back so no plans for the future as of yet. Been absolutely knackered the past couple of weeks so more than ready to go :D

I am so jealous............ at the rate I am going I will be driving home from work one evening and driving straight to the delivery room !!!!

I just can't believe how little time it is before baby is born and how there is still so much to do....................

enjoy your maternity leave Rusks........... put your feet up, have lots of lunches out with friends and spend your evenings lying on your sofa being waited on hand and feet by your OH...........

I wonder which of us is going to produce first......... oh this is so exciting... some days I still have to pinch myself just to remember that I am pregnant ........... can't wait to hold my baby in my arms ......

Enjoy your maternity leave......I'm much the same as Fiona and expecting to go into labour whilst working  Oh well, ce la vie (or however you type it  )

Get plenty of them lie ins covered before bubs makes an arival :cheer:

Contrats nows the time to up your feet up and relax.
I still need to sort out my maternity leave start date
I only work 2 days a week though so because of the pitiful amount of hours I work I will be trying to work as far up to the due date as I can *fingers crossed*.

Hi Rusks,
Welcome to the lady of leisure club. I finished last week and have spent most of this week doing thise little jobs I never seem to get used to when I am at work. Have nearly cleared out every room-only kitchen cupboards and oven to clean left.
I keep thinking I should pack a bag just in case -perhaps a job for next week.
Enjoy your first week off.x

wow that went so quick hun hope you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and get lots of rest ready for when your little one makes an appearance xxxxxxxxx

Enjoy your maternity leave Rusks. It seems like only yesterday you were waiting for your 12 week scan and hoping your dates weren't put back. Time has so flown! Enjoy every second off hun (cause you don't get a minute once his here! )

Fiona reading your reply made me have goosebumps as i too am so excited now, i still have slight worries hoping to good ness he will be ok but at night i lie awake and just imagine being a mummy and the excitement sends me mad!! i think i'm going to burst!!
