ive found out today that my local odeon cinema hasa mums and babys session!

im going to take rachael to see Mrs Potter!!!

it should be all odeons princess nic, I saw an advert for it last time we went - what a fabulous idea!!!

Hope you & rachael enjoy the film Budge :cheer:

i bet it is all odeon! if its not why not take a trip to mansfileld and come with me!!!! :cheer:

Our Odeon does that too! It's such a nice idea! I can't wait!

I wish cinemas in Leeds did that. I keep checking their websites but so far nope it seems they don't.

Mind you we don't have an odeon here - we did, years ago, but it got turned into a primark.

We've got currently 2 vues, 1 showcase, 1 very small old fashioned cinema (I do believe it's the oldest one in britain - it's been open and showing films since 1912).

plus another small old one that only shows pretty obscure films.

I think that's it for Leeds - that's all I know of anyway.

Even cineworld in Wakefield (another cinema we go to sometimes) doesn't do parent and baby showings :( so gutted.

what a fantastic idea - how old can your wee ones be before it becomes too much of a nightmare? I can't imagine I'd be able to keep Maddie entertained for the duration of a film....

OMG I remember "The Lounge" So tiny. My grandma used to take me there when I was little as she got in free and I was cheap lol. Last film I saw there was Pocahontus :rotfl:

And odeon is soooooo expensive!! xxxx

nope the Lounge got closed down.
the one I'm talking about is Cottage Road - not far from the Lounge - even tinier and even older.

I was gutted when they shut the Lounge though - it looked like for a while that Cottage Road cinema was going to close too but they battled and managed to keep it open.

:o They've closed it down! That's dispicaable!

Gosh I forgot all about Cottage Road *memory flashback* :rotfl:
Went there when Lounge was full.
