so, basically i have to go to this rehab type place during the day, monday to friday. i have to have therapy because of mental health problems.

but i am finding it so difficult to be there at the moment. its very hot, very busy, and the place is on a hill, which means if i have to go anywhere i have to walk up and down this awful hill. down is fine, up is a problem!
which means im stuck in this hospital all day.

i know this isn't really a 'normal' situation to be in, but if anyone could suggest any way i could try and explain that i really cant cope with being there!

i dont think i will be getting any real 'time off', at least not soon.
ive tried asking, but i just get upset!!

i cant do this for that much longer! im tired, im stressed, i have nothing ready because i have to be there all day and weekends i am wiped out!

just, GRRRRRRR!!

*hugs* Maybe you could try writing what you'd like down? like if there's a possibliity of only having to go part time, it may be easier to write it than ask for it it outloud? That way you could write all your reasons etc for not being able to attend every day, "normal" women get maternity leave so they can rest up before baby comes and i know it's not the same but you should be entilted to have a break before Jasmine comes along.

Sorry i can't be of more use x

thanks Em :)

writing it down is a very good idea, i tend to break down into tears when i try and talk to someone about it! bloody hormones!

im not going to have much time for myself after Jasmine is born, so i think i should get a little bit now!

if i write it down, i could send it to a few other people that are involved in my care too, which could help.

i sure stress isnt good for Jasmine either!

I agree with Em hun writing down how you feel is a really good idea. I know when I get emotional I make no sense and lose the point I was trying to make so at least writing it down you can order your thoughts and get your point across. Sending you a big hug xxx

I agree with writing how you feel down. And is there anyone you feel like you could talk to about your situation? Like a support worker etc... Try and explain how your feeling? You could also think about an alternative/ solution... I always find if your bringing up a problem you have with someone, if you have a solution it can help. Hope you get it sorted soon :) xxx

*Hugs* Sorry to hear your situation, definately agree with writing your feelings down. Maybe they could make an exception and have someone come out to you? I would mention about feeling like you need some time to yourself before baby comes and ask for a sort of 'maternity leave'. If you're getting stressed about it, the therapy will be counter-productive anyway, so there's no point in making you do it if your hearts not in it. Hope it gets resolved soon for you! xx

thankyou ladies :)

Lolly, that is a really good idea, about suggesting an alternative, they are probably more likely to consider it if there is an alternative.

Jacy, that is right, i already feel i cant concentrate in the sessions because im worrying about everything!

xx
