The oddest thing just happened...

I was in bed having a nap, when all of a sudden my whole stomach kind of rippled/shook

Not experienced this at all before. It didn't hurt, but felt very different from the usual kicks and rolls. It was over as quick as it began.

Since it's happened i'm wondering what on earth happened in there! Has anyone else experienced this, either in previous pregnancies or during this pregnancy?

I'm not sure why, I just feel a bit unsettled by it...:oooo:

So much for some shut eye! :nap:

I've experienced this, it's like bubs has a shudder or something and it almost shakes your whole body... it's a crazy feeling isn't it!!

LO is obviously sending you a message - don't get used to sleep mommy, i'll be here soon and you'll never sleep again hee hee!!

my little one does this to me on a regular basis, its actually quite spooky i think - they move their whole body around sometimes and its gross! haha some people love it, but i cant say i do it creeps me out a bit ! x

i'm with you, it freaks me out, it's as if baby has been asleep and something frightens it and it jumps makes me go WAAAHHH

Phew! It's such a relief to know other people have experienced this!

I did actually think that baby may have woken suddenly from a dream, or was frightened by something that made him shudder. I found myself rubbing my tummy for a while afterwards to reassure him!

It was such an odd feeling, I'm completely baffled by it!

Haha yeah like it's just shivered! I get this too in bed.

I have been wondering this too. It's kinda like little one vibrates, lol.

I remember getting an emergency appointment at the Dr's about 6 weeks ago when my whole tum was bouncing - Dr had a huge grin on his face and informed me that hiccups in the womb are quite common! LMAO

ahhh so thats what that is lol i just thought i was imagining things
