This is probably a daft question but what sort of food will Jamie be having at 7 1/2 - 8 months old. He'll probably still need it pureeing (will he?) but will he be able to have with some soft lumps in?
What sort of lunch & dinners will he have?

I'm just thinking ahead if we go on holiday because all he has at the mo. is pureed fruit & veg & packet breakfasts.

What could he eat in a hotel?

Sorry i'm being a bit thick here!

At 71/2 months Seren was having food that I had roughly mashed so there were lumps in it. She also had loads of finger foods, banan, avocado slices, rice cakes, steamed carrot sticks and brocolli stalks, raisen bread and toast etc etc.

Ditto. Ella also has things like sarnies, pitta's, bagels, croissants, pasta etc :)

How do they eat these things if they don't have many teeth?

Damien hasn't (well didn't till the other day) got any teeth and he chokes on bread and pitta etc. I give him toast still as it's a fun texture for him, but he just makes it soggy and tends to spit it back out!!
Damien had the 7month plus jars, or whatever I'm eating mashed up with a fork. When we have pasta, I just cut the bits in half with his spoon as I go along, he loves it!

Yep my gummy bear manages just fine. she has sandwiches and crackers in the afternoon and chomps on pasta, vegetable chunks and humzingers. Their gums are really hard.

Hi

Kiara eats whats stated as above and pretty much anything we eat just cut up tiny she loves to chew !!

beanie what are humzingers???

We just give liam's food a quick whizz with the hand blender, which does leave lumps and it is all cut up into the same size lumps. we do give him finger food and as per Hazel and Jo we are going to try him on Butternut Squash, Sweet potato and red pepper chips.
