****October 2014 mummies****

Oh, I just realised I might have upset some with my comment.

Just like to reiterate that I understand that some may not be able to quit and have tried but failed. It's just the disregard come individuals have. It might just be the case that this person just went into defence overdrive and didn't mean to say it the way she did.

Anyway, sorry if I upset anyone. Didn't mean to.xx

I know, I'm so sorry! I don't know why it's grated on me- I don't normally care what others do. I just think it was the way it was said just really irked me.

Thing is, you could do everything you believe is "right" in pregnancy and still encounter problems. Every situation is different. I think I just feel for those that have bad experiences and then have to heart someone be so flippant as that.

I think ultimately that's all that has grated on me. The flippant remark. I am really not concerned what others do in their pregnancy, as each to their own and we all have our own struggles. Its just obviously a sensitive day for me or something!

I'll go back in my box!

Aww shootingstar, nobody should be offended as we are all allowed our own opinion.

Just popping in to say hello. I've not been on much these past few days. Between going back to work and hurtling on with my dissertation I barely feel alive anymore.

Taffy, you're beautiful, and you look fantastic in your bridesmaid's dress!

And I'm loving the changing bags. Can't wait to start buying baby stuff...

Hope you're all well xox

Hi pips,
Missed you already. Hope your not stressing too much and still take your time and relax?

Errr... Not really. I'm going to get told off by my doctors. Yesterday I carried a really heavy shopping bag and felt something 'fall' in my lower belly. Then I was really sore all evening. How does everybody do their shopping? Oh can't do it as he works really long hours, and I know I'm not supposed to carry heavy things, but how are we to eat then???

I am lucky my family lives literally 5 mins from my place so I either go shopping with my brother who helps me carry it up the stairs or I rjng them and ask if someone could come over and give me a hand if OH is not here.
Otherwise I have loads of bags with medium weight and just carry them up bit by bit.

Pips, you were meant to rest lol. You are as bad as me with not listening haha

Aw pips lol u deffo need to take it easy! Do any supermarkets near you do home delivery or anything? Or as vampysgirl said, just divide all up into more bags so they are lighter?

Don't fret shooting star :) rant away that's what the forum is for! x

Pips I always go with my DH or if I have to get something with out him I take his 'grandpa trolley' with me, when we were living at his mothers and before we got the car he was fed up carrying the beer from the shop to home so we seen a 'granny trolley' in something like a pound shop (more expensive than a pound but I cant think of what else its like that is in the UK). It is easier to wheel it around than carry it, now if only they would make the lift quicker in our apartment block that would be my shopping trips sorted lol.xxxxxxx

Hey coachQueenie Happy 19 weeks :D, I will be getting DH to take a belly pic when he gets home from work and post it later tonight. xxxx

Yay Happy 19 weeks back at ya Susan and also to steffy!

I think my DH will be away tonight so il prob take mine myself in the mirror!

I felt huge last night and my tummy is starting to feel hard! Looking forward to seeing your pic :) xxx

Oh and Steffy too!!! I forgot who the other person was with us.

It is gaming night in our household ( DH is a big gamer and we have negotiated that Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are gaming nights and the other nights are together nights) so my DH would not be anywhere other than home hahaha. Thankfully he has a 8-5, mon-fri job without much change in times or days.

I felt baby's first temper tantrum this morning. I woke at 6:05 (20 mins before the alarm :( ) on my left side which is the side the baby is on and I rolled over to my right side. For nearly a minute all I could fell was wriggling and punching/kicking hahaha.

I can't wait to see how big you are as I have no one to compare to :D

xxxx

Don't worry, you will feel it soon enough. And trust me, even it sounds crazy but you will wish for days where the baby won't use your bladder as a sand sack to do boxing exercise, or when it lays on your sciatic nerve... I remember that too well from my first one. I seriously thought I am breeding a professional boxer in me lol
