****October 2014 mummies****

Naomi I wouldn't pay the full price for the pink lining bags I just couldn't justify paying that much money - I'm a bit tight like that lol but I will say the quality is really really good, and there is so much space! I can see myself still using it when number 2 comes along! And I told myself it's basically going to be my hand bag for ageees and il be using it practically every day so will get good use :) if you are considering getting one I would deffo look for one in the sale tho! x

Thanks Taffy Rose and you look stunning! Can imagine other girls faces...

Claire that's shocking. Why things like this happens to pregnant women, we have enough on our plate.

We all need to start off somewhere in our jobs, I don't blame the trainee midwife she was really lovely. The trained midwife could have taken over sooner I thought. I recon she saw my OH grab my foot and thought she better take over.

Taffy Rose you look gorgeous in that dress, would never know you're pregnant!!

So glad they found the heartbeat Claire~ I can imagine how horrible it was waiting x

I want a changing bag too lol, best get looking xxx

My OH found our changing bag. It made me chuckle he was looking online when I was away at my parents house. He's really getiing into this baby shopping. He ordered loads of tommee tippee stuff earlier. I did tell him we have plenty of time. Lol

It's a lovely bag Claire like you say it helps to have one both you and your oh can use, I hadn't even thought of that really lol! I had really just imagined I would get one to match the pram we end up getting but now I'm looking at all these lovely pretty bags! Been looking at some nice cath kidston bags now but could be sure my fella wouldn't be carrying out of them ones so we may need two!

Aw ok coach yeah they are pretty pricey but if the quality is good I don't mind paying a bit more, will def be checking the sale section first though like you say ;) xx

Taffeyrose u look lovely!

Poor you Lynn lol xxx

On a better note we made it home just in time to catch the postman who delivered our changing bag :-)

Can't wait to use it :-)

I like your colour way better its lovely, but its not man friendly lol
Lol I didn't think it was that bad as its grey and cream too. It goes with the colour pram we're getting and wasn't extortionate. U also get a fleece blanket that u don't get with most.

Random question but can baby hear external sounds yet? I'm 19 weeks tomorrow! x

And the little dummy bag is so cute lol. Mine will go perfect with the pushchair I'm getting as well.

Baby will be able to hear muffled sounds. Gets better after 24 weeks. 30 weeks plus they can hear what we can, just a lot quieter.

I hope my little munch can't hear OH yet I still haven't gotten his swearing under control. Lol :-)

Lol I keep saying to my oh that we don't want the first thing the baby to hear to be a swear :p but he always forgets! :wall2: xx

My OH said I could get a swear jar and everytime he swears he has to put 50p in. He said we could get the pushchair by next week with the amount of swearing he does lol

Hahahaha my oh's parents and their older children swear loads and since his stroke so does my dad so I'm genuinely worried the baby is going to be swearing before it's mastered 'mama'! :( lol xx

Naomi - the I candy you was looking at how much was it? I really love them but I don't think my budget will go
that far for the travel system I need . Xxx

Each to their own and everything, and it really is up to you. But to say something like "it's my body" when trying to defend the decision to keep smoking has grated on me.

I completely understand that some people are unable to give up, and try to at least reduce their intake. But to make a comment such as the above grates me.

I just remember the midwife saying how they can tell if you smoked or not as the placenta goes black and gritty. She also says part if the placenta affectively due and the amount of oxygen to the baby is restricted.

Sorry if I offend, but just overheard this comment and it's irked me.

Ok, rant over.
