Oow Claire xx I was lucky in my first pregnancy and didn't get any stretch marks but now I've got a few on my boob I am preparing myself maybe for some more to appear! I'm not worried about it tho xxx

Sally , we are planning to have 4D scan (ony simply 4d) so the latest option for us will be 28 weekes. I want to wait as long as possible to have vision of the baby as "grown up" as possible. My OH seems to be a bit freakout currently and I do not want to go bridge to far

Good luck to Daisy tomorrow! And either option is good, you can always ask sonographer to put gender result for you in envelope so if you change your mind you can always open it if not you will have suprise at birth

It looks like at 18+6 weeks i finally lost my belly button and my bump became massive! it feels like since Saturday morning all happening, we saw baby sticking heaqd/bum above my currently non existing belly button, i am being kicked, poked (I am not sure how much more my liver can take), looks like someone fiannly decided to have a say. So looking forward to seeing little monkey on Thirsday and finding out if it is a boy as my gut tells me

Ahh lovely, I've had a look online at a place near me and they do the scan upto 30 weeks so gunna try book as late as possible

I'm getting jealous of all you lovely ladies that are able to colour co-ordinate lol. When I sit and think about it I really want to know what we are having but I won't be shifted off my team yellow fence.

Oh dear beci I haven't got any stretch marks yet but I have got a huge throbbing varicose vein popping out my left leg

oh dear Claire that sounds nasty... what is it?

Its a vein in my leg, I had it before I was pregnant and the doctor wouldn't do anything about it on the nhs. But its got worse since I've been pregnant and when it was really hot over there weekend it was throbbing and itching.

Hello everybody. I've not been on for a while... My studies are getting to me, feeling overworked and underestimated (even by OH who doesn't get that pregnancy doesn't make like easier grrrrrr).

Anyway I did check on the scan results and I'm very happy for all of you the scans went well and you've got healthy babies. Mali, I also think you should get a private scan. That frustration will stay with you otherwise.

Happy 18 weeks to me

I am definitely starting to feel some pops which I know are kicks now, OH will be able to feel them in a week or 2 which he's looking forward too. It'll be nice because we are so busy with our 2 year old and the business and getting the house ready we haven't really been able to think about this pregnancy too much.

Good luck to those having scans, mines not for a couple of weeks as we're on holiday the week after next, I can't wait! xxx

oh that's brillient Pips... I wish it was so easy and lovely to give birth... but i believe (or want to believe as no experience) that labour and it's pains it is only inconvinience before you have your lovely baby

Happy 18 weeks Taffy!!!

Just back from my midwife appointment and if the old wives tales are to be believed then we have another tick for the baby girl column. Baby's heart rate was 151BPM and is sitting high up lol. Just been given some leaflets on yoga classes and I require a visit to my GP and a physio as we think I have sciatica. If it is sciatica then I have had it for a long while but it is now getting unbearable.

Hope all you lovely ladies are doing good this fabulous (over here at least, its 27 degrees) Tuesday xx

OMG I'm so fuming mad. At work there's already some girl that's trying to take my job . To cut a long story short, she hates her department that she works on and her mate works ln mine. Well her mate found out today I was pregnant and told this girl. Now she's been trying to speak to someone all afternoon about having my job. When I found out I went mad. I haven't even had my 20 week scan yet to see if my babies alright and I haven't given no leaving date. I bet she wouldn't jump in my grave that quick!
Sorry for ranting on but its pissed me off big time.

WTF!!! I'd be well pissed too Claire_louise, I mean even if you had your scan and a leaving date she does realize that it would only be temp that she would 'have your job'. xx
