Dont know if its new or what i haven't seen, its on at 10pm, really hope there sensitive about weight and not turn it into a dramatic 'if your overweight this will happen' thing, my labour was brilliant and im plus size so hope its not all horror stories! x

I've it set to record ! I hope they show positive births too

yeah me too... although it Will be drama. otherwise they wouldn't show it. hopefully it wil be a good and bad view. i had a wonderful pregnancy and labour Xx

Sent from my shit hot phone! Fo shizzle home girls.

Yeh i hate it when they make it look like every labour is terrible Look at the twins and tripplets show that scared me and im not having twins x

Iv got it recorded going to watch it later xxx

Watched it couple of days ago and whilst i can understand that it can be frustrating being reminded you are overweight but unfortunately it doea carry more risks. I am watching my weight this time as i.gained 20 kg with my son

Tapatalking so cant see signatures

Yeh but if your already overweight there is not much you can do, yes not gain any more weight will be best but it wont stop the risks from your weight anyway, last time with Alice i lost weight but they still spoke to me like shit.

I thought they kinda showed the women who hadn't eaten healthy had worse births and the one that had was fine, i don't think that really was much to do with it. I think the risks with her weight where still there, in my mind if she was 20 stone to start with and say lost 1 stone, she would still have the health risks of the girl who was 19 stone by the end ifykwim?

Like i said to my OH yes its risky but for Christ sake there are heroin addicts having babies that need weening of the drugs but they spoke to me like i had done the worst thing in the world by 'getting pregnant at that BMI'.

Not that im disagreeing it is risky but then again when isn't having a baby, lol xx

I think like everything they are trying to show extremes; its tv after all. But it gives insight into what the risks are i guess.
They did show a woman who controlled her weight and it was positive.
Of course there are people who smoke, do drugs etc but for me personally extra weight is hard, i still havent lost 8 kg from having my son and my back can definitely feel it.
Doctors do need to be a bit more sensitive though with many issues incl weight but there is no other way to explain why for example you cant have an epi or they cant lift you.
Being obese doesnt make you a bad person but it comes with increased risk of health complications and so on

Yeh completely agree it does come with risks but i dont think eating healthy for a few months will change the risks, obviously its better for you to eat healthy anyway i just think it was coincidence on the show. but it is OBEM and they are like that lol xx

hmm i don't know how i felt about it to be honest...
