Hello all. Just have a few questions and wondering if any of you can give me some words of wisdom?!

When do you think I should think about getting fitted? Do I need to make an appt or do most place just sort you when you get there? Any recommendations as to where to get fitted? How many will start me off? I'm wondering if maybe to start of with 3/4 as my shape might change quite quickly?

Thanks ladies :-)

I went to mothercare just turned up and I have 2 but could do with another couple now. I'd get 1 or 2 to start with then get more if needed.

Thanks :-) I'm wondering whether to get one this week as the mothercare sale is on, but it might be a smidge early

I didn't get mine til after my milk came in, just as well as they grew loads!! You could use sleep nursing tops at first. X

A bit scared of squirting into my top if they're not secured in by a bra stuffed with breast pads!!

I've trashed loads of tops, even in bras. It happens whatever you do in the beginning. It's doesn't really matter at home, and most people dont go out straight after, certainly doesn't matter at night or in hospital. Xx

I guess I need to get used to things getting a little messy huh?!

Oh yes! Even when you're all padded up, the milk somehow gets everywhere. I was feeding Oliver this morning in bed lying down and I didnt realise that he had let go of my nipple. This particular nipple is called Norris McSquirter because it can spray for miles). I picked Oliver to take him downstairs to start the day and he was soaked in breastmilk. Poor sod.

I also very often get him in the eye and face and he just laughs at me.

I went to Mothercare at 36 weeks and was measured. Bought 2 bras for £30 and have since bought some pretty ones from marks and spencer. I have about 8 of them now as you do go through them quite quickly.
