I wasn't sure about dark wood at first, but really glad we went for it now! The cot was on offer and was only available in walnut or white and I thought the white would have looked washed out against the walls.
I originally wanted a natural wood colour/teak but they were all really expensive. Really glad we went for walnut now though!
If so, get some rubber corner covers. I have these and the amount of bruises on my legs was ridiculous before I got the covers. Those pesky night feeds and stumbling in dark next to low drawers = pain!
